can u use a 195 55 r16 tire on a Prius C 2015 model one?? I got some free tires and rims from a friend that had them on his mini. On website requires a 195 50 r16. The extra profile creates a 3.1% enlargement. Factory recommends 2% max. Am I going to rub on the wheel wells? Thank u for any input.
I really don't know, but if they're out of the range allowed by the manufacturer, your insurance would probably be invalidated. Tyres are a critical safety component of any motor vehicle licenced for road use and any unusual wear on the rubber could result in sudden blowout. I'd say definitely DON'T DO IT!
