My first car was a European car, 2nd one same, third finally was a Japanese, 4th also Japanese. Anyways, I am more familiar with Akrapovic, but low and behold, a Ti exhaust for the Prius!

Tommy Kaira High Performance Exhaust System Premium 01TR HEAT BLUE TITAN4pipes (Both Side) for Toyota Prius [ZVW30] 1T001Z10 - Bulletproof Automotive

First one wonders/worries whether it is truly made of Ti, but I guess the weight when you pick it up would be a good sign. (I hope I got the correct type Prius I am not very familiar what ZV ZW versions match to which Gen….

    Thoughts?….

I remember I had a Akrapovic exhaust on my 99 and 01 R1. Told myself should I get a M1000RR, it would get the same exhaust treatment.

    You bought that?

People went nuts when I bought my Ganador.

I actually tried to contact this company but got no reply.

ZVW30 is correct for our Prius.

No, but it’s a weight saver for sure, if truly titanium.

I find myself waiting for a poor man’s exhaust, when my stock one develops holes, then enjoy the sound until the fumes start annoying me, then I get a replacement…. ‘85 Cadillac deVille, and ‘92 190E….

I just can’t bring myself to cut off a good stock exhaust, wonder if I’ll get dreaded drone, or too loud you get into trouble with the cops.

We do leave my wife’s Panamera GTS with loud mode ON to have engine breathe better, but since it comes like that cops never stop us for it….

Stock is said to be 73db and my Ganador is said to be 80db and you can not even tell there is an aftermarket exhaust.

I even have the CARB legal Magnaflow catalytic converter and its not loud.

But peppy and faster for sure but I cant say my opinion much on here unless I have proven results with recorded data.

Otherwise anything a company says about their product isnt true if I just type my results here.

Try it Subaru style. You unbolt your mufflers from the rear pipe and insert washers (instead of a gasket) between the rear pipe flange and the muffler flange.

Idles quiet, not too bad for maneuvering. But when you give it the beans it'll holler up.
