Nice, and to the point./ Pleased to hear about the handling. Not expecting a sports car, but Focus at least would be nice ;)

looks like a stealth bomber. i wonder if they put a larger 12v battery in.

eco heat/cool is interesting, just a renaming, or separate control?

looks like the same button lights that you can't see in the sunlight.

they've moved most buttons to touchscreen.

    self parking looks good.

I think it knows if there's only one person in the car, and only blows on them...

    Sounds good and bad !
Just how long was that runway ?
He couldn't get it to 100 mph ?
Either that means it doesn't go any faster than that or it's slower than the current one !
Or did I misunderstand something g here ?

Rundways should at least be about 3000 to 4000 meters and he didn't manage to go 100 mph ?
I get to 100 mph very fast with my gen. 3,it certainly doesn't take 3 or 4 Kilometers to get there !
European gen.4 Prius models have a speed limiter,do US models too ?
Maybe it was activated and set to a certain speed under 100 mph !?

Nah, it does not have guts, err I mean horsepower to go that fast with lowered HP for engine, and lowered HP for motors.

Seriously though, 100 HP should be enough to bring car like Prius to 100MPH with such a low drag area and low Cd. May be there is some incline, and/or may be loaded?

Gen. 3 doesn't even take 1 Kilometer to go up to 100 mph, even fully loaded !
Maybe Toyota restricted the vehicles for the event ?

Minimal body lean. Looks very composed at the exit. Should have Gen2 side by side. I am sure it is something C&D would do.

Good to see the mpg numbers in the slideshow were conservative estimates and not official EPA figures.

It depends if they had the whole runway. I suspect they only had a portion of the runway because the other part is used for the handling tests.

    I certainly hope so !
It would be a disappointment if has a top speed as slow as the Prius V !

It's not that I go the max speed of 180 km/h all the time,I hardly ever did that, but if I go let's say about 160 km/h ocasionaly i don't want it to be the max. speed to not put to much stress on the vehicle .

    Very funny !

Jumbo jet runways are 10,000 ft or so, but smaller aircraft runways are much shorter, maybe half that or so.

OAK North is for private aircraft. Metro for jumbo jets
