    16 YEARS ? About 7 for murder or rape in the US, and out earlier on parole.

    He could have raped a monkey or a human and probably got a lesser sentence.

    Going to prison for holding an auction is rather insane....

    His biggest crime there is alot of money to be made logging in place where monkeys live. Brazil is one of the major supplier of exotic woods for musical industry, and you need a pretty big tree to make 1-piece Les Paul.

    I remember seeing Fred Schneider(B52s) sit down at a piano at the driskill which is an old downtown hotel and play and sing the girl from ipanema. Really cool song in a opportune setting. It would have been even cooler if he had a monkey with him.
