third party apps or develop apps

    are there third party apps that you and install ( besides entune, which I guess is not third party ) in the prius, And/Or can I build my own apps, is there a plugin model here. I don't like the audio features, I either want a better audio app or I want to build my own.

    welcome! sorry, no. everything with toyota is proprietary. your best bet is aftermarket h/u.

    I saw one recently in a brochure which had a built-in GPS for speed which was fairly inconspicuous - not sure how well it worked. Quite cheap, about $80-90 if I remember right.

    head unit. new dado basically, but these days, it's so much more.
