They denied my first choice too.

A friend of mine wanted NCC1701, but it was denied. He then requested NCCI70I, substituting I for 1. That was accepted, but when he got the plates they read NCC1701 instead.

Glad your friend got the one he wanted and besides the “I†substitute isn’t as cool and the actual “1â€.

I mostly like the movies but have recently gotten into ds9. I get the dvd’s from netflix and am now up to season 3.

In some states they have a list of words and phrases or 'sounds likes' that you cannot use. Not sure about AZ.

I believe it is an elaborate hoax site designed by the seeker of a certain vanity plate to justify his choice. He sent the URL to the DMV of his state and they bought it.
