Not quite like napalm in the morning but....my Gen 1 (still) has a very pleasant, distinctive aroma to it's interior. Difficult to put into words but it's unlike any other brand new or used car I've ever owned. Having just got it back a few months ago after 10 years apart (there's a Hollywood movie in the waiting) it still smells much the same, each time I get in and sink into the drivers seat as it always did. 110k miles in 17 years. I don't know if it's the upholstery, glue, headlining, plastics, carpets or all of them. Shame these forums don't offer a scratch and sniff option. Either way, somewhat weirdly, I do love it.
Ahahaha. I think it's the fabric on the seats; I'll have to dig out my Prius brochure and see how they describe the material. Unlike Clinton, I inhaled yesterday.
