That's right, a man named Olivier from just across the Bay, Redwood City, was world's first Leaf owner. He drove from Petaluma with the Nissan exec, Carlos T (?) to a conference in SF (see video), then took it home. As for anxiety, there's another guy from Ridgecrest taking delivery next week. Last part of trip is through Mojave. He's planning how to make it all the way. Trip planning is needed sometimes in EV driving, like flying an airplane. Listen to what EV driver's have to say. It's not like filling up, more like topping off each day. No doubt, it's a type of car that would work for many people, most of the time.
