Perhaps George Lucas got hold of it and with a bit of tinkering here, a little bit of editing and CGI there, has turned it into something nobody wants anymore?
That brought back memories. My first new car was an orange 77 GT liftback. I miss the 5 speed standard with RWD and the 5mph big rubber bumpers. Ran mobile 1 in it, retired the body at 9yrs 160,000miles because of rust, dropped the engine into a blown 79 and drove it another 120,000 before rust got that one also.
