Harping on George isn't doing any good. It's like a Doctrine Of Presidential Infallibility has been announced, backed by people who should know better...

It's entirely possible that Bush is well meaning, but he's certainly not competent.

Plus, the whole "loyalty is more important than life" thing has caused many more problems with this administration... it just breeds corruption and coverup.

Len Dunkel tells Larry his "theory of 77." He claims that since Washington's presidency, a great presidents have held office every 77 years. Therefore--according to this theory--only Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and George W. Bush are great presidents.

Some days I think he's just plain stupid, other days I think he's just playing stupid so he can get away with anything.

So, I've given this some thought. This might be the basis for the great divide in this country: George Bush was a C student. That makes him average intelligence. The half of us that are smarter than him think he's an idiot. The half of us that are dumber than he is think he's a genius.

No I think torture of any human is wrong. They are sub-human so it is ok.

 

He was a C student with parents rich enough and powerful enough to keep him out of dangerous military service.

The fact that so many people think he is stupid is constantly used to his advantage by his inner circle of advisors. He is smart enough to surround himself with very intelligent people, you have to give him credit for that.
