HI all I have a question.. How important is it to match the etched letters on the Brake booster?? For example I noticed the one on mine has a large LC .. others have LA or EH. ?
Second question. I see quiet a few scanner tools that have abs bleed capabilities. Do they work on the prius?
    Thanks

Unfortunate this question didn’t get answered since i have the same question.

I have a 2012 prius V and from my research i have to get a brake booster from a V, not hatch. Just today i purchased a used one from a 2012 prius V that someone was parting. It looks identical to mine but the two letters stamped on my booster differ from the one i bought. Mine has “SH” on the booster, and the one i purchased has “LC”.
Anyone have any clue as to what they refer to?

    thanks

My Toyota dealer gave me the exact part numbers that I need for my 2010 Prius IV hatchback: no letters- all numbers 47050-47140 for "cylinder A" ($1143.68) and 47070-47060 for "pump assy" ($1115.80) Their prices are much higher than anyone else or MSRP. They told me the previous owner had the parts replaced in 2019 under warrenty. I noticed that my pump label is mounted sideways and not longways. The car sat for 2 years after the car died and was towed to his house. So, the part(s) failed after only 3 years if the dealer is not lying.
