I started to drive more frequently than ever since starting a side hustle last year. Somehow eventually, temp button started to stay stubbornly sticking that I had to push it harder than the other buttons especially due to adjusting car temp more often. Was Googling around elsewhere indicating I'd need to replace the MFD. When I curiously asked service advisor at nearby Toyota servicing shop near me, he quoted $1,771 for the part and $485 for labor. I've seen priciest new MFDs elsewhere for probably no more than $600. Then I came across just the MFD's frame for $60. Given that I've been pressing hard that stubborn button for bit over a year, think it'll still be fine to replace just the frame or better the whole MFD?

I'd probably try carefully cleaning the button.
