    Hello forum,

I have a 2009 Prius and the manual shows pictures of the indicator lights on pages 148, and 149.

These pages show battery, oil, temp, etc...

Is my Prius capable of showing these gauges or not? I'm reading in the forum's where people are using things like Can, or scan gauge, stuff like that.

Just concerned because it would be nice to know if the water is low in the radiator, or the engine is about to seize because there is not oil in it.

    Thanks

    Mark

I've been driving a Prius for 5 years (04 and now an 09) and I've never had a problem nor have I been worried about it. The car does a good job of automatically monitoring critical items. Many people use the scan gauge to see actual temps, etc. I prefer to watch the road.
