My car talks to me telepathically. When I walk by it at night, like just tonight when I took out the recycling, it theatrically brightens up its interior and I can hear it say, inside my head, "take me for a drive".
Our Prius is becoming more sentient all the time. We can hear his happiness after we run him through a carwash! He fairly hums with joy.
I swear every time I see it, it's smiling at me like those Chevron w/ Techron talking car commercials!
Totally serious. If I walk within say 3 feet of the car all the interior lights slowly brighten up. (The part about the voice in my head isn't so real...hmmm...or is it?) I thought all Prius did this if you have the fob on you?
All the cars with SKS do this. You thought it was just your car didn't you? What else has the car been telling you? :madgrin:
Mine keeps telling me, "Please take me back to Florida where it is not 6 degrees and snowing....... I reply, "We'll go back in April, and if you treat me well and stay healthy, we'll live down there for good in 18 months". I remind her, (yes, it is a her) that Florida is a land with no potholes and no rust....a land where you will stay nice and clean...no yucky salt that sticks on you for weeks because it is too cold to wash you clean again...... And if you're real good and stay healthy, I'll sell the big rusty gas glutton Jeep that parks next to you in the garage....(don't worry, he's a 4 wheel drive, he won't ever come to Florida with us).....I'll buy you a new baby sister Prius with a solar sun roof, she might even plug in by then, and you'll both have sun and fun for many more years.......
