Tapes were released today after noon on the event that killed one mans children, wife, and mother. Hate to say it, but poor decision to proceed to Miramar on the pilots part. Some pilots' decision making capacity needs reevaluation, like the one who lined up to land at Montgomery Field thinking it was Miramar. BTW, who owns this silver Prius (photo from San Diego Union Tribune site)?
My sister and BIL live half a block from the site. Pilots at Miramar have plenty of canyon where they can ditch the plane if there's a problem--they are trained to do so. It is just sickening that it should have occurred in the first place.
