Very tempting. How many miles are on them? Is there any reason to worry about blowing out the shocks with this minor drop?

probably about 5k miles on the springs....I wouldn't worry about the shocks blowing out. These aren't aggressive springs. Mine felt fine while I had 'em, the springs experienced anything a daily driver would, and they felt great. No off roading, flying over bumps, or legitimate racing, but these weren't designed for that use anyway.
I would say that your stock shocks may wear slightly faster than normal (if only because stock shocks are not calibrated for these springs)... then again it all depends on how hard you push the car :)
