Taking apart Prius C radio/CD/Nav unit.

I have a CD stuck in my 2012 Prius C head unit (the radio/CD/Nav version). I tried all of the things to get it and even popped the unit out in an attempt to get the CD out that way. My next step is to take the unit out and take it apart enough to get the CD out. If this breaks the CD player, I'm fine with that since I pretty much stream off my phone or listen to the XM channel. Are there any gotchas I can run into? And how can Toyota create such a great vehicle, but flub it when it comes to CD technology that is at least 40 years old?

 

I've done that and tried everything they suggested. None of it worked. So taking the deck apart is the last resort.
