I'm trying to syncronize my contact list from my Motorola Razr Cell Phone to the Bluetooth 'Phone Book' connection on my 08 Touring #6 Prius. The phone synct fine and the hands free works well, but I can't seem to get it to load the phone numbers. Any suggestions? Thanks
    Marc

I work at TTC (Toyota Technical Center) in Ann Arbor, MI and I had some questions about being able to sync my BlackBerry 8830's phone book with the one in my Prius. I hit up one of my coworkers and he pointed me to the following site:

    Toyota Bluetooth Phone

Great resource for pairing your phone and Toyota vehicles.

According to Toyota's lets talk website; the Razr can only Transfer single number phonebook entries to the handsfree system. I havn't figured out how that happens yet?

Not sure what brand of RAZR you're using... I was just looking around my fiancee's V3m (through Verizon) and I don't think there's any way to do it with that particular model... The V3i (GSM RAZR, for AT&T, T-Mobile, etc) might have the ability as the Bluetooth capability of those are usually less crippled, but I don't have one to test out for sure.

The heck with it; I just loaded them manually as I only had about 15 numbers to input. Still would be interested if someone cracks the code!

Yup, I have a RAZR V3 and it states right in the instructions from Toyota's lets talk website that you can only transfer 1 address at a time. Looks like I'll be at it for awhile, LOL :p

    depends on the software

It most definitely can depend on the generation and carrier of the Razr V3, V3m, V3i, etc.

On my Sprint Motorola Razr V3m, I could select multiple contacts to send at a time. The software and UI on the Verizon version looks TOTALLY different than those on Sprint versions even though both are CDMA.

There's been a lot of chatter on this subject in the past on Audio and Electronics - PriusChat Forums which is really the right place for this query.

    I wouldn't bother.

A Motorola phone isn't likely to last long enough.
I've had 3 Motorola mobiles and all have needed repair within warranty and the last 2 failed just out of warranty, the first was analog and I had to upgrade to digital.
