Dear Folks, I have a Prius Alpha 7 Seater 2011(ZVW40-3006339) , with Terrible Driver seat w/o Lumbar Is it possible to install a seat from UK PRIUS T3(ZVW30R-AHXEBW0(Hatchback).( with electric lumbar) Do i need to change the Rails as well , disconnect 12 V battery etc. Your advice is greatly appreciated . regards
I assume that you have already tried various seat cushions to improve the lack of lower back support? I'd do the cheap and easy options first. If you've already tried that and aren't satisfied, it may be easier to just retrofit your existing seat with an air bladder to add lumbar support. Plenty of info on the subject by googling.
I've found this type of simple lumbar support helps a lot: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=291427620297&alt=web It is also cool, due to the mesh material allowing air circulation. OP, if you are going to work on the seat, removing it, etc. You definitely want to disconnect the battery before working on anything that has an airbag in it.
Thanks for the prompt reply , The best seems to be ROSTRA, but i live in SOUTH ASIA , i am not sure about Buying in USA and installing here using third party installers ,
