I know I read about this somewhere on a message board.

Upon returning from vacation I noticed some disfiguration on the plastic surrounding the push buttons on the door. The plastic was still a little sticky. "What the ??". Now I remember! We used sun screen lotion liberally and I had rested my arm on the armrest with the controls. The darn stuff melts the plastic. D*** it! no one to blame but myself.

There was someone else that had a similar problem and as I recall the "melted" finish is actually an applique over the plastic part. You may be able to replace it.

    WOW. Thanks guys.

I'm very blonde and pale. My wife is always getting on me to wear more sunscreen. Always more sunscreen. Now I know that when I'm in Priapus after sunscreen I need to cover the plastic bits or do something to prevent the plastic damage.

    Thanks for the heads up.
