Small fender bender but Fran slightly bent and insurance decided to total it. Looking to get a similar car … so why parts would you strip to keep as backup:spare parts (ie sensors?), and what parts would you strip for resale (ie catalog converter?). Would you drain relatively new fluids for future use?

12 volt is like new (I purchased maybe a year ago that was definitely coming w/me.) Wish it had a spare - I had the tire repair kit, and learned the hard way you never want to use it. Clock spring - great one - wouldn't have thought of that. Yes, will loop up the pumps and motors and pull those. same for ear and mdf (radio) was on the list. Parts that go bad, and parts that worth selling...(that wouldn't consume massive amounts of room that is - won't pull a door in hopes of selling them down the road for example.)
