    I have a Prius C Model One which comes with a 4 speaker stereo system not 6 speaker as on the other models. I would like to put the back speakers in. Does anyone know if they prewired the back speaker area or not?

    Take the back apart and see if there are a couple of wires hanging there. Your gonna have to open it up sometime, especially if you are adding speakers! I am assuming the four speakers you have are 2 tweeters, 2 lo range speakers, or is it 4 of the same thing?

    Yes I have the 4 speaker setup. I would like to make it a 6 speaker setup. Thanks for the help.

    did you end you running speaker wire into the door? i will be running 16 awg wire into all 4 doors;

    it looks like it's going to be HELL running wire into the doors, such a tight space. i am debating removing the doors to make the process easier.

    has anyone ran new wire, or has everyone spliced into the existing wire?

    i'm especially interested in what the op did here.

    i think most people run the new wire into the door. there should be a little wire loom but getting to that might be hard.
