Wonder if that will be part and parcel with the new 140 MI fast charge plug-in pickup that's supposed to be out already but - now it's 6 months down the road sometime.

Think it would depend on timeline in certifying it with the states.
Isn't Mercedes the only manufacturer with a Level 3 available in the US?

What are they going to put it on, the old minivan or the even older minivan?

They've already done lots of testing with Chrysler Minivan & versions of attopilot running around towns. iirc the Apple version? Maybe too early to see where this goes.

    It isn't a Level 5 system.
Toyota's Traffic Jam Assist only goes up to 25mph, and isn't eyes off the road. 37mph is more than enough for urban roads. Limits on such in Europe are around 30mph, which is where I expect them to roll out to first.

A different product, the upcoming Rivian R2 is supposed to have a nice driver assist system. When it is available for a test drive, I'll give it a try. No interest in the current one.
