I've been reading my owner's manual and am a bit confused. Under setting up the displays there is a part on page 200 that states" Switching the Eco Driving Indicator Light/Steering Switch operation display on/off. What does this mean, and what is a steering switch? DO I want it on or off? Thanks again! This car is making me ask so many questions!
I would have to check the manual myself but I suspect it has something to do with the steering wheel switch(es) HUD that pops up over the speed display in the dash when a steering wheel switch is pressed. It appears that it may be possible to disable that display. If that is the case, if you don't want that to appear, disable it. I will double check later on today.
It turns off the eco light above the HSI indicator bar (basically the throttle bar) that comes on and off depending which area you're in on the bar. I say leave it on, it's not like its annoying or anything.
