Start up/No Start up?

Did the LED in the button turn green when you pressed the brake pedal prior to pushing the button?

 

I'm not a fan of red, yellow, green - Dummy lamps. I prefer solid, precise data points.
The first thing that Toyota tell you to check is 12V battery condition. Sorry a yellow lamp does not tell us anything because we don't know what the parameters of that yellow lamp means. Was that just a voltage test or a combination voltage and amperage out put test?
You need to get the battery back onto the GREEN and try again - meaning recharge the battery. If this is a battery issue, you can hook the car to a jump pack to start the car. Then take it down to any chain auto parts store for a free battery diagnostic. Ask them questions. In my experience, they tend to be more forthcoming than dealership personnel, if they're honest. You may have a real problem or just a phantom problem created by a low battery situation.

Dealerships typically use one of the electronic load tester, with a built-in printer. It’ll test CCA, and give that measure, voltage and often a verdict. There are lots of them. I’m using a DIY level Solar BA5 (current equivalent BA9). Ancel has several I think, Topdon, Foxwell and so on.

 

If the 12v battery is 10 years old, it is time to replace it.

 

There’s a sensor behind the brake pedal when depressed with the brake pedal, the on off ignition button turns green to turn engine over when the button is pressed. If the sensor is not fully engaged by the brake pedal, it lots up orange and when you press the ready button, ice doesn’t turn over. Physically adjust the sensor back in place, start stop will be green again when brake pedal is pressed.

 

If adjustment doesn’t help, then I’d suspect the sensor’s failed, or it’s wiring’s been compromised, and so on.
