Squishy feeling leather steering wheel

    I like a squishyish luxurious feel to a steering wheel so I am a little disappointed in the feel of my new '08 leather wheel.

    Do they make nicer covers for Prius steering wheels? Does anyone here have one or am I being too picky?

    Mine feels almost scratchy like they used a cheaper grade leather. I have noticed this cheaper feel in $50,000 cars too!

    Is there a simple, inexpensive solution?

    I second onerpm's suggestion.

    Although, instead of that site, you pay purchase through PriusChat shop or through www.sigmaautomotive.com for additional discounts.

    i third onerpm's suggestion.

    I put wheelskin to cover the leather steering wheel on my touring. It's now thicker, cushy, and much better look.

    My hands get tired/cramped using the original leather steering wheel cover.
