I have a concern with my fairly new Prius. I have a 2007 basic Prius model which I got in May. Recently, I have noticed that when I parallel park and am doing hard turns left and right, the car kind of squeaks or groans. It's really only when the steering is turned as far as it can go, and its not the steering wheel that squeaks I feel but the tires perhaps but when the steering is in the farthest position. Does anybody have any ideas or has anybody had a similar experience? Thanks for the help! Elise
It's the outer CV boots rubbing the accordion folds of themselves against each other, mostly likely. Harmless. Creates a very minor visible wear pattern on the exterior of the boot after a while. . _H*
