This was driving me nuts. I didn't notice it until after I picked it up from having the LoJack installed, which was done at about 40 miles, but I sure noticed it then and since. Well, today I took it over to the dealer to have them check it out, and they fixed it! Evidently, there are some pins that hold the seat to the track that are too long, and a service bulletin prescribes that they be ground down to fix the problem. The result: blessed silence on the way home. Before, the Prius was almost perfect. Now, it's perfect, and I'm happy!

I have a vibration sound in the passenger side rear seat area that is driving me nuts. It of course completely disappeared when I took the car to the dealer, even while I was driving. The best I can tell it goes away when the seat back is lowered. I have put foam padding on the latch with little effect.
