Squeaking Cargo Area Tonneau Cover

    The cover over the rear storage area in my C squeaks. I know it is the cover and not the car because when I remove it the squeaking stops. I have tried the three mounting positions available at the hinge area but I still get squeaks. Do any of you with a C3 or C4 have a loud tonneau cover?

    C2 has it too :) But no, I haven't noticed any noises coming from mine... Is it rubbing up against the side of the cargo area somewhere?

    Mine's quiet, but if it wasn't I'd lubricate certain rubbing points with, say, a bit of silicone spray lube. Spray it on a paper towel, wipe your finger in it, and apply.

    Modify/repeat as required.

    It seems to be coming from the rear of the cover, where it meets the metal of the hatch.
