The first PiP I spotted was someone at work about 2.5 weeks ago. A co-worker of JeffN's. Same color as mine. I haven't seen them plugged in at work yet. The second PiP I spotted was a silver one bought from Toyota 101. This was on 101S in Menlo Park today. Followed them all the way to San Jose before I had to get off the freeway. I don' t think they noticed me (or cared).
There are a couple of blue PIPs where I work, so I see them every day... and I've seen another blue PIP driving around my neighborhood area... How did you notice the silver PIP was a PIP? Was it the rims, the charge port, or the green sticker? I also have a silver PIP, and am still waiting for my license plates to arrive so that I can apply for the green stickers! :high5:Oh what a feeling!:high5:
The charge port was what tipped me off. I got my stickers on monday. The dealer was able to get me my plates within about a week of buying the car and sent in the application for me.
