Hello fellas, I have a an issue with my 2010 Prius. I have factory JBL (no navi) system and for some reason, 2 of my speakers went out. What's funny is that my front driver side speaker is out but the passenger side works. The same thing in the rear. The one behind the driver seat is working but the one behind the passenger doesn't. Do you guys happen to have a wiring diagram? I need to get this figured out, its driving me crazy.

A number of things could be causing this. Was your car recently worked on?

Here are the wiring diagrams for the regular 2010 Prius. They shouldn't be any different for the V. Good luck with your troubleshooting...

Well, initially when the problem occurred, i took it to a dealer and they said that apparently when they took the stereo out, they found a leaf. It led them to believe that it was a rodent eating my wires. When I asked to see for myself, I saw just one leaf and that it.

Sometimes the obvious can be easily overlooked. Have gone to you radio settings and adjusted the front to rear fade controls? They may be set to 100% rear speakers.

Same problem but my 4 speakers stoped working, I removed the door trim, connected external speakers and they work perfect, 4x speakers were shot for some reason... Except the tweeters. Problem solved by replacing the 4 speakers. It was a pain removing the speakers as they were riveted to the door instead of screws... What a stupid idea by Toyota!!

Toyota is not the only one who rivets the speakers.
I don't remember which car it was, but I was replacing the window regulator. Which was riveted in place!
I had to grind the off. A PAIN!
I was smart enough to ask the shop foreman to help me with the rivets because I wasn't sure how tight
to go. He kept saying, tighter, so I did, until the window shattered! There is probably a preset amount of
force set at the factory that won't shatter the window. At least I didn't have to pay for it! :)
I used bolts and nuts with locktite instead....
When a factory builts something, they don't really care about repairing it. They want you to buy a new one,
and let someone else worry about it. They make more money that way.

Your windows should be all up to avoid such damage while doing the repairs. Next time, hope not! Lol.
what kind of speakers have u used to replace oem ones? That fits in the round plastic thing.. and also better quality may be...

Did you mean this for me???
I was riveting the window glass to the regulator. It wouldn't have mattered if it were up or down.
I believe it was about half way though.
