I was looking to buy new spark plugs since our Prius v coming to 120K miles and found a kit. However, I'm struggling to determine what's included in that kit.

    Here's the Gen 3 spark plugs: Spark Plug #90919-01275 | Autoparts.toyota.com
Here's the kit: Spark Plug Kit

Appreciate if someone could share their wisdom and knowledge.

I'm simply wondering if the same scenario as with EGR applies to spark plugs or not (buying a kit is cheaper when just an EGR)

Never heard of a spark plug kit but it is unlikely to include four plugs for $38 and certainly would not include a coil.

Call a dealer’s part dept and let us know. I suspect it could be dielectric grease and a new screw for the coil or clips for the windshield wiper system - parts that have to come off.

    ^ This.

it’s a Denso plug, spec is in Owner’s Manual; except Toyota has revised to a slightly hotter version: going from “20” to “16”.

torque is 15 ft/lb, no mention of lube on threads, so presumably clean/dry. 14mm or 9/16” spark plug socket required.
