So I played with the traction battery....

    I unplugged and plugged back in the service plug for the traction battery, now I have a hybrid system error. The car will run on the ICE, but no hybrid...

    make sure the service plug is inserted correctly and latched down. 100% sure it is not installed properly

    If the ICE can be started at all, then the traction battery should still be connected.

    Can you get any error codes out of it?

    The error may take take three on/off cycles to clear also, but yeah if the ICE isn't coming on, there is still an issue.

    Okay. Looks like persistence is key. Tried it a couple of times and it cleared itself.... Phew!!!

    I must have missed something. Why did you unplug the traction battery to begin with?
