My commute is about 50-60 miles roundtrip everyday. Was driving a Avalon which gets about 25mpg. I purchased the 2012 Black Prius Three. So far getting on average 50mpg. So basically saving a gallon a day. At 3.50/gallon I am saving about $70-$80 a month!!!!!

However, my Prius is becoming my Primpmobile!!!

The car goes in tomorrow for leather install. I am going with a two tone. Charcoal on the outside of the seats and headrest and Frost for the inside of the seats. This matches my interior very well and matches the two-tone leather steering wheel wrap I put on.

They are also going to install my Auto-dimming Home Link mirror.
I have installed my mudguards, installed stainless steel license plate holders

Also, had the speakers removed and installed some new Hertz speakers and hushmat.

Just ordered the tow hitch and still deciding on which bike rack to purchase.

Also just ordered the Shark fin antenna, which I am going to attempt to install. (San Jose Shark fan so it was a required upgrade)

Waiting for the dealership to get my chrome lower body molding in for install

Also installed the all weather floor mats, cargo organizer and cargo net.

    Now looking at new rims

Anyway, I love the car and having fun with it.

Just dont tell my wife how much my upgrades are adding up to.

Shrktank, you're on the right track to having a "pimp" ride:). I jus wished our gas price was as good as the bargain $3.50 your paying, ours is @ $4.20 & up, ouch:(.

    :cheer2:

I am in the same boat, but not to the same degree maybe.

The Prius is the first car I ever wanted to mod in anyway. For me the mods will be simple ones:

    - Cargo net

    - Lower body moldings

    - Tinting the passenger and top rear window

I blame the priuschat members for my addiction. LOL

Not a mod, but also on the hunt for a trunk mount bike rack.
