Hello, just purchased a new Prius in Fl. 2 days ago.I purchased it for fuel economy since I drive about 20000 mi a year.So far I'm trying to get use to driving a car again.I'm coming from a Nissan P/U that I drove with a light foot.Looking for all the tips for driving and maintaining this car I can get. Thanks Roy.

Welcome, RdkingUSA, much of mpg for your truck will apply to the Prius ... easy driving ... andicipating the next red light / stop sign ... kind of like driving as though your brakes had just failed. We'd all drive a bit more carefull if that were the case. There's a bunch more, but that's plenty for the time being. Many take the apporach, "JUST DRIVE it". And that works too - unless you think you're Kyle Petty. :p

You DO drive the Prius year round don't you? The Prius is not ideal to not drive for months at a time.
