Smoke tail lights

Purchasing what? I want to do mine but haven't come up with a plan of action yet. What materials would you use on it? I wouldn't want to do any that require physically damaging the lights by abrading them or permanently painting them with smoked paint.

 

He may be referring to a tinted film. I know that's how it's often done. It is, of course, illegal. If someone with tinted tail lights gets rear-ended, it could easily be used to shift liability.

What percent is that tint? Like light transmittance level

Nice rims (or are those covers?). Are they original to the car?

 

@SaraBBrown94 , it’s beem awhile but they are a very light tint. I would say 50% or lighter. Just enough so it’s less flashy.

 

@Insighter , these are original to the car. They are 17 Inch Persona wheels that came with the Persona Edition. Definitely not covers.

 

Given the visibility through them, I figured they must be rims, but I wasn't sure. They're great.
