smart start

    Is package 1 the only package that does not have the smart START function?

    I've gone to the Toyota web site and it sure looks like it. Nice to see Smart Key as standard equipment on nearly all Prii now.

    I can't say as I would ever recommend a vehicle quite as stripped as 2006 Package 1.

    Yes. Probably reasonable for most fleet purchases.
