Does anyone know what to use to touch up the silver plastic trim rings.
Mine get scratched by curbs exposing their true white color.

    thanks

The trim rings are meant to be thrown away. Like the clear plastic film that comes on new appliances.

BTW, where can I get a set of curb feelers?

If you really like the trim rings just post asking for cast offs. Most folks just junk them after removal.

I've seen posts before, "free for the paid shipping" for the rings.

I have used model plane paint, the matte silver color with a tiny paint brush on another car, still looks cool and no glare. Be careful though, and seal with clear fingernail polish.

Are you saying they are purely esthetic and have no function?

Apparently, they keep you from scratching the good looking alloy rims that they hide.

They are training wheels for parallel parking. I scratched up the 2 passenger side trim rings early on. I removed them when I figured out how to parallel park the Prius efficiently and with no scraping.

In most parts stores ( PepBoys) you can find "Duplicolor" original manf. spray paint and they do Toyota for most years and colors. I bought a shaker with a mini brush/ball point for under $5.00 to cover-up some hood chips. ;)
