Hi everyone! Just got my 2012 Prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon) Wagon - love it!
Ok, how do I do this:

I want to change the POWER button to a red BOOST button. Or red TURBO button. Or, simply a cool red button (or sticker).

So, how do I do this?
    Thanks everyone!

Start by understanding that the PWR button does nothing except re-map the throttle response. Floored is still floored whichever mode you're in. IOW, flooring it in any mode has the same result.

Yeesh, pal. I don't need a lesson in obviousness, just a red freaking sticker.
    Thanks for the charming welcome.

    Hmmm.. maybe...
Now, this is the power button on the arm rest, where "Power" is one of three buttons (the others being EV and ECO). So, it's tricky...

right. it seems like replacing the button would be better than a sticker, but may be more difficult. i wonder if jdm has anything?

    Again, I understand it's ridiculous.
But that's how I roll, and it would make me pretty happy!

Sadly the most obvious way to achieve your goals is going to disturb your self image: Finger nail polish.

For some reason, and I don't even use the button very much...probably the least of all. BUT for some reason the decal on my Power Mode button has faded.

So if you discover anything that looks good? Let us know.

I would assume you're just going to have to apply some artistry. With either paint or a sticker. But I'm sometimes surprised at what products people dig up that do exist.

I'd be leaning towards sticker if only because I think experimentation would be cheaper, easier, and totally reversible.
A trip to the local craft store might be good.

    Excellent!

If I'm gonna do it, it's gotta look real. So, I don't trust myself with paint or nail polish. Hmmm.

Try plastidipping all three and going in with an xacto knife to remove the coloring from the other two. From there you could have tiny letters cut from vinyl sheets for the turbo graphic.
