    The installation took 30~45 min. for my mechanic to perform. He encountered no issues at all. He can probably do it again in around 30 min. or less time.

    Yes, it holds at various height levels but towards the end, you can see that it drops by itself if it's at 50% (or less) opened position.

    Personally I'd rather have a stronger strut so the hood opens up easier, I see no use in holding the hood at any particular point other than open. With that said, I'll check out the site when it's back up and may buy one.

    Is it possible to swap that strut for a stronger one?
