I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but its the best i could come up with. On the side tweeter housings for the '06 prius, there are 2 clips that hold the black housing to car. one is just a plastic white "Tack" like holder at the bottom and the other is a tab like with a metal clip that acts like a spring apply pressure outwards to hold it into place. You can force off the house and the clip usually stays behind in its slot. But if you try and force the house back to the car with the clip there, it will fall behind and become lost. ...has this happend to anyone else? Any suggestions on getting my darn clip back, do i need to tack off my side view mirror? Is it possible to order this small clip? Has anyone made one?

They've ordered both the speaker housing and the white clip - we'll see how long it takes to get from Toyota Parts. I'd avoid messing with the mirror housing, and focus on replacing the clip, in your case...and I'll let you know how long it takes to turn up the part. The estimate was one week - we'll see...

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TheParadox @ Jun 6 2006, 08:12 AM) </div> The body shop is handling the order - I haven't any idea who the source is. And I haven't heard from them yet, so I'm not celebrating anything right now...they broke it, they fix it...how long it's going to take is another matter. I've managed to secure the speaker housing so that it doesn't move around when we open and close the door, so I'm willing to be patient....for now...
