I'm looking to remove the badges on my 08 prius fenders. There is a small hole under the hybrid badge, intended for non-us vehicles for a side marker light. Anyone have a source for a less expensive light? Sigma sells the JDM lenses but there 100.00 Mike
I'm following this thread because 10 years ago, I came close to manufacturing sequential flashing side marker lights and it's still a vague dream for some reason Nexus 4 ?
I was actually looking to do something similar, the BMW side marker lights looked to be of dimensions that would cover those two holes on the later model Gen2 Prius. Would just need to cut a 3rd larger hole for the side marker light but it should cover the two pin holes from the 'Hybrid' emblem. Kind of a big deal to cut into the fender...."measure twice, cut once!"
Where is this light? Hella makes a marker light too 25.00 for the set but you have to cut a oval hole. I was looking for a light that was relatively flat with3m tape on the back. and possibly running the wire through the small hole on the fender.
