Should I replace struts and shocks?

    Howdy!

I have a 2013 Prius v with 95K miles on it. Took it in for a 10 K service last week, and the mechanic said that the front struts are worn, the dust boots are broken, and the rear shocks are leaking (still running on original struts and shocks). His quote for the struts is $580 parts and labor, and for the shocks it is $400 parts and labor, plus wheel alignment $85. I took it in to a Les Schwab for a second opinion (didn't tell them what the mechanic said, just told them that I wanted to get it checked given the mileage), and Les Schwab said there's nothing to worry about right now. I can't figure out if the mechanic is being honest, or if Les Schwab did a sloppy check. I'll get it checked out at a couple other places. But please see attached pictures from the mechanic. I don't know if you can spot anything conclusively from just the pictures. Any advice is much appreciated.

From the looks of it, Les Schwab did you a favor. The boot can be repaired, and there don’t appear to be any visible leaks.
