2013V with 188k. I have cleaned the EGR/intake manifold, replaced plugs/ water pump/pvc valve/coolant etc but should I swap out the inverter pump as well just to be safe? How long does these pumps tend to last and how difficult of a job is it? I received a thing in the mail from toyota about a extended warranty on the inverter itself but was unsure if these failures were due to the pump failing first. If the pump fails does the inverter fail shortly after? Thanks in advance
Not sure about inverter coolant pump, maybe, but engine coolant pumps have been failure prone, and preemptive replacement has been recommended (by a few members here), say by 150k miles.
