should i get the prius???

    I live about 1.7 miles from my school. I want to get the Prius but do you think it's practical for me given my location from school???

    of course its practical to get a car that gets 50+ mpg... so get a bike for school and the car for everything else

    your mpg won't be the greatest at 1.7 miles away. i'm 2.5 miles off campus and get around 45 mpg to schooll and back.

    but that's still a lot better than other cars out there.

    i also recommend a bike if you don't have to go down a big highway like i do...

    oh what i wouldn't give to be back at my undergraduate campus where i could bike every day. i only put 150 miles on my brand new trail bike since i moved here last year... :(
