Anyone know off hand what the thread pitch is for our shift knobs on the Gen III's? Want to get an aftermarket one that I found but want to make sure it will thread on first. The one i found was a M10x1.5. Just looking at it, I would guess it's fairly close, but not totally sure. Any info and help would be great. Thanks.

Take it into a hardware store and try different bolt sizes. Or if you know someone with tap & dies that would work also.

The shift shaft thread is M6 x 1.0, Standard metric.

Ya, I took the shifter knob into the local hardware store and yes it's M6x1.0. Now for the task to find something that will fit.
