My 2010 Prius has a button on the steering wheel called 'Display'. When depressed and held a 'Setting' menu is displayed on the dash. The first two items puzzle me: Eco and steering. You can turn them either 'On' or 'Off'. The operating manual does not explain either item. Somebody must know what it means....... Thanks, Kurt Gruensfelder kurtg10536

my problem is our system indicator went off, and it tells me to hold the setting for it to come back on. Where is this "setting" button. Just got our 2011 Prius 111 last week. I think hubby pushed a wrong button and zonked off the system indicator. HELP please. Is it a button on the steering wheel?
If you push the DISP button, then push and hold it you should get back to the Settings Mode. Then use the DISP button to go to Screen Off and turn the Screen back On, then when you exit Settings it should be OK. Everything is done with the DISP button, either holding it down for some things or just pushing it normally for others, it will sometimes tell you if you need to hold it down. Here is what I did: Push DISP to get the settings mode message you mentioned Push and hold DISP to go to the settings mode Push the DISP button 4 times to move down to Screen OFF Push and hold DISP button to enter the Screen OFF setting mode Push DISP once to change to Screen ON Push and hold DISP to get back to the settings menu Push DISP to get down to EXIT Push and hold DISP to exit the settings mode You should have the screen back and you can use the DISP button to select your favorite Display Mode such as HSI, if not try it again.
