    Send the Republicans first

    Make Rushs cyst burst

New Orleans is now under the sea

Lives have been lost, cant you see

Cause the Arabian horse judge, hes so sleazy

Wont fund levees in the big easy

And where the hell is the National Guard

The people in charge of national protection, is that so hard

Oh, they cant be disturbed with some bric-a-brac

They must spread freedom and democracy to Iraq

And by freedom and democracy, I mean take their oil

Economic imperialism, taking over their soil

    Commander Cuckoobananas mendacity flowers

Tells us to do National Service hours

And by National Service, I mean draft

I wont fight for Republican graft

But anyway back to our own shores

    And our own political whores

Hannitys bitchin to the best of his ability

About how its not the federal governments responsibility

To save the people in a national emergency

Where was Bush in all this urgency

He fiddled on some Ku Klux Kountry singers guitar

Ate Jon McCains Cake, and saw the carnage from afar

Cause you know that those that are sufferin

Are those people with a lotta melanin

    But not lots of green

Why didnt the dead take their limousine

    Senator Santorum screamed

And the rest of the nation steamed

    Over the loss of lives

    And the one that survives

    Loses his livelihood

    And his neighborhood

Christian and Jew, gay and straight, black and white

    Against racism, we must unite

Put your hatred on the shelf

Tell the bums to f**k themself

Yeats, it isn't. I've seen better "poetry" from my neighbor's third grade daughter. Just sorta making the last words rhyme doesn't make something a poem. This is what too much "rap music" results in.

Re-work it so that it can be sung to the tune of "Send In The Clowns".

I actually agree with Charlie Rangel - institute the draft again - make everybody serve country! I would have several options including non-military service, para-military, and military (which would be compensated).

I am sure everyone here, in the name of Patriotism, would serve country if called upon to - by whomever is President.

Man up (and woman up too) - we would have a large standing army - large enough to do whatever the President asks of us - and do it with pride and honor.

We have so much to be thankful for - the least we can do is make sure we pass this great country on the following generations.

So I agree with you - but I would also send the Democrats, the Greenies, etc.

Oh, hell no: there should be *no* exemptions. The President's handlers would think real hard about starting Iraq-like fiascos if they knew that voters and the children of voters regardless of race, education, and net worth were all equally likely to become cannon fodder or conscientious-objector jailbirds. Which, of course, is Rangel's point.
