    Two questions. Has anyone seen any resonably priced front seat covers for the 2004 Prius? They could just be slip ons.

    Second question. I wish the American cars had DRLs. Some Toyota SUVs use the Turn signal bulbs as DRLs. Does anyone know if the dealer could easily do this type of conversion? Has anyone tried it? I wouldn't want the HID lights on all the time.

    Here's one idea that I came up with:

    http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=1...&hl=daytime+fog

    This mod uses the fog lamps as DRLs.

    - The fogs (now DRLs) turn on/off with the standard fog switch;
    - They automatically go out when the parking/headlights are lit (i.e. at night);
    - They automatically turn off when you open the door, like the headlights.

    Note that I haven't yet implemented the mod, but it appears that it should work.

    I've had my $59 seat covers ... complete front, back, and center rest, for a while now, and still like them very much. See my review thread at http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=16631

    They are not the quality of Okole or other high end seat covers, but for my purposes, they work great.
