Does anyone know the torque specifications for the seat hold down bolts (front and rear) for a 2012 v?

    Thanks!

It would be in the TIS documents.

Don't do as many do: Torque it until the threads strip, then back it off a quarter turn...

I believe that they are JIS M10mmx1.25. For them, it would be 38 ft. lbs.

Not sure about the 2012 v, but the 2010 specs are 27 ft-lbs, all bolts, front and rear.

Thanks for the answers and the suggestion regarding TIS. I looked at the TIS document and indeed, the torque is the same for the 2012 v as for the 2010 as listed by RRxing...27 ft-lbs for all the hold down bolts, front and rear.

Since the bolts are 10.9 J.I.S. grade, they will effectively take 38 ft. lbs., although Toyota specifies 27. Either way is fine.
